PENIEL 2018 [DAY 2]; Character in Learning – Olaoluwa Ladeloye

Compiled by Lawal Modupe Mary

CHARACTER IS LIFE
Character is a pointer to a man’s destiny, It is the Driver.
Sow a thought, reap an act, sow an act, reap a habit, sow a habit, reap a character, sow a character reap a destiny.

CHARACTER IS DESTINY
While Capacity is container, Character is the content. Character is the key to learning, it takes character to learn
It takes humility to learn
The proud cannot learn
He thinks he knows too much
Even Jesus learns from the Father
He said I hear from the Father and judge
The best book of character is the bible
It’s the manual of destiny.

CHARACTER IS LIKE SMOKE
Give it time, it will show
Capacity can take a man to the top, only Character can keep him there
Character is what you are in the dark
When no one is watching
Character defines a man, Determines his outcome
It’s the last resort of destiny
Character attracts attention when you don’t call for attention, It speaks what words can’t.

CHARACTER IS THE LADDER TO CONSISTENT SUCCESS
Fixed: it can’t change, it’s static
Watch this! It is your Fixed

PREDICTABLE
Nothing changes it, even your status cant.
Predictable: guessable, touchable, announcable, speakable, knowable.

IMAGE: YOU!
Image is the man inside
Who you are, what you are, your person.
The man in the mirror
So think about this for a sec., is character worth my investment?
I’ve seen beauty without brains
BEAUTY WITHOUT CHARACTER
Pride is a vice not a virtue, though generally speaking, it falls under bad character.

But for the purpose of learning CHARACTER IS A VIRTUE
Vashti had capacity, but lacked Character, Esther opened up to learning and mentorship under her Uncle, so she succeeded.
The King’s Staff tutored her, because of her humility she won.
We don’t have capacity problems in Nigeria among our leaders we have character issues.
Your attitude (character), determines your altitude.
I meant men of capacity fall
I’ve seen men of character fall flat because of character
Because of character.

CHARACTER!
By their fruits you shall know them
Both of them have capacities, but character distinguishes them Sir.
Can someone tell me the difference between Jesus and the devil?
Jesus relied on God for mentorship, learning. Before healing he would commune with God.
Satan rebelled, he thought he knew it all
He wanted to be like God
JESUS IS GOD. YET HE LOOKED UP TO GOD!
