Christian Forum Seeks for Peace and Unity in Nigeria

In summit tagged National Healing, Reconciliation and Unity, the Concerned Nigeria Christian Forum (CNCF) advocates for unfired force with Christian ideals to support citizens in re-inventing a more purposeful national consciousness.

This was voiced by the National Coordinator of the Forum, Mr. Isaac Balami, stating the danger of disunity if the country fails to ensure healing, reconciliation and unity among the various groups. This could deepen disharmony and a harvest of pain and chagrin, which could be inimical to peaceful coexistence.

He however noted that prayer for leadership can help in achieving this “The CNCF, through the Nigerian Christian Summit 2019, considers the need to pray for the leadership of our country for wisdom to make our leaders promote healing, reconciliation, peace and unity. “

The purpose of the summit is to develop a sustainable Nigeria by the people forgiving each other through the collation of 3,000 Christian leaders of different denominations expected at the summit to pray in one accord.
