Divine Presence

This will be my first published article in this year, and it divine leading that God is asking us to seek his presence which should be the priority of every child of God. Because divine presence open door to other things in the kingdom.

In line with that, I will be publishing on this topic frequently, may be it going to be in series as we move on. Just remain updated. Let me start with this as an introduction.

Every child of God has the qualified right to be soaked in the presence of God because; first, after our salvation we are ordained to be seated far above heavenly places with Christ. And hath raised us up together, and made us SIT together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus – Ephesians 2:6. If that is the case, then we are dwelling already in the presence of God.

Second, our body is the temple of God, according to I Corinthians 3:16, Know ye not that ye are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dweleth in you. That means God is in us, and if God is in us, automatically we have his presence.

You need to know that the channel in which we have access to the presence of God is through the Holy Spirit, without Him we will be lacking divine presence of God.

However, for us to be and sustain his presence, we need to be conscious of the following.

Seeking Him Always: Psalm 63:1 , you don’t just seek God for seeking sake , you seek him to build relationship of deep intimacy which grants you undiluted access to his presence.

Humility: it not enough to seek God, but killing your pride to seek him, which is called brokenness, this is what attracts God. A contrite and humble spirit as written in Isaiah 57:15

Joyful: no one comes or seek God with a heart filled with sorrow. There is no way you want to attract God with that, rather you attract devil. In Psalm 100: 4 and I Thessalonians 5:16

…To be continued.
