The sign of the last day will be incomplete without the fulfillment of some prophecies and these prophecies are of negative and positive sides, negative in terms of what the whole earth will experience on the last day like lust after flesh, locusts, epidemics and many more which have been discussed in the first part of this article.
Continuing from the first part of this article with that 2 Chronicles 7: 14, which says If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
What that passage is saying is that this time is the best moment to seek the face of God and pray, a time when the people of God who are called the believers are expected to build an intimate relationship with God without any excuse of busyness. Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise therefore, and build ye the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the LORD. 1 Chronicles 22:19. At this juncture with God, several things are birthed only if believers can patiently wait on the Lord to seek his face, the moment whereby believers gather more momentum to stand during this pandemic season.
Furthermore, the end time prophecy for the believers is the OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY GHOST which gives room of atmosphere to several dimensions of God. Joel 2:28 says And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
So, every believer is expected to begin to manifest the supernatural dimension of God in this season, where people begin to experience the ministry of Angels including the younger ones, where miracle, signs and wonders becomes the order of the day, everyone begin to carry the full presence of God. This is a realm whereby the believers can see the future by the power of the Holy Ghost and walk in the revelation knowledge of it becoming the solution provider to the world’s problem as the earth is counting on you to bring restoration as Romans 8:19 noted that For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. You can’t afford to disappoint God and man, all spheres are contributing their quota, what are you contributing as a son of God? This is the season to be thirsty and hunger for a greater dimension of God, the season to show forth the Glory of the Living God.
Understand that when life feels out of control, it can be comforting to remember that we’re never out of the sight of our Creator. Aside that all these pandemics show the sovereignty of God, a reflection that one day this earth will be no more, all activities will be on permanent halt as we are experiencing, no one to run to expect God.
It also indicates that the outpouring and earnest manifestation of believers is a great boulevard to remind the world how great our God is. He still remains the creator of the universe, the King of kings, ancient of days who sits on the throne forever.
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. – Colossians 1: 16-17
One of the positive prophecies of this season is the UNITY OF THE BODY OF CHRIST; it seems the church has been divided into various parts through diverse doctrines generated by personal interpretation of God’s move per time. This have stripped us off of a whole lot of things in our refusal to be one body cordoned us not to be influential and effective to the world, remember what the bible says that a house divide against itself will not stand.
This season should help up realise that we are one body, a fold with a shepherd.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. – Galatians 3:28
This is the time for every believer to be in unity bound by love in Christ Jesus. Beyond all these things put on live, which is the perfect bond of unity. – Colossians 3:14
In addition, the church is expected to be very sensitive to the move of God per time rather than being stalk with doctrine or a patterned way of worship, a system where every member of the body will be empowered for kingdom exploit!
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. – John 16:13
The sensitivity of the church should be sharpened like never before, this season is expected to open the church to dimensions of the Holy Ghost with a flexible mode of worship and not rigid, yielding to leading of Holy Spirit.
Finally, every media outlets should not allow their influence to be used by the devil rather let the power of the Holy Ghost drive them in all they do. Media should avoid exaggeration and over flogging of issues in order not to create a negative mindset for the audience. Rather every media should be a tool in the hand of God in these last days so that many can be turn to righteousness focusing more on the positive side of a story and way out.
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. – 2 Timothy 2:21 Shalom!
