Just as Christian ministers across the United Kingdom came together virtually to sing blessing over the land during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Christian Ministers in Nigeria have also taken this same step by singing the same song in Nigeria’s local languages which include the three major languages – Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo with other dialects.
Some of the ministers include, TyBello, Pastor Chingtok Ishaku, Daps Dalyop Gwom, Odunayo Aboderin among many others.
According to the captions on the YouTube page which says; “By the prompting of the Holy Spirit, believers in Nigeria have come together to speak The Blessing over our Nation. This prophetic word has been translated into different Nigerian languages and dialects yet carrying One Sound.”
The Project which is led by Mrs. Winihin Jemide , Precious Olawuyi and Olufemi Olaiya who stated that “The instruction was to sing it in our local languages without losing both the musical integrity of the song and the ethnic integrity of the language.”
The musical video was premiered on YouTube on May 31, 2020 and has reached over 105,000 views as at the time of publishing this story in just 11 days.
