While driving to Lagos in the early hours of today to conduct a naming ceremony for the family of one of our Lagos Pastors, we ran into a blockage at Lagos/Ibadan Toll Gate at the outskirts of Ibadan close to Gurumaraji.

It was SERIOUS. No way. All roads blocked. The protesters had taken over everywhere. I had to make a U-turn to navigate some shortcuts to reconnect the road back to Ile-Ife.

In a nutshell, Lagos trip was cancelled. And we were lucky to quickly get back to Ife.
On one hand, I wasn’t happy with the development, but on the other hand, I was happy that like never before, the youth are taking their destiny into their hands.
I think it will be foolhardy for anyone to undermine the protests currently going on in the country.

For men and women of the Spirit with a sharp discerning ability, it’s very easy to know that the fullness of the times for Nigeria’s restoration is here.
For the avoidance of doubt, I strongly believe that the hand of the Lord is evident on this ongoing protest for many reasons too numerous to mention.

The prayers, prophecies, intercessions and supplications of many years are long overdue for manifestation.
The longsuffering of God over systemic decay in Nigeria has been taken for granted for too long.

And now, God is raising a new generation of nation builders. How does He do this?
He stirs up the spirits of young men and women, just like He did in the days of Zerubbabel.

And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,

The “spirits” of young men and women are stirred up to build the nation.
It is the zeal of the Lord of hosts in full display and we see the determination of a generation to galvanize the rebirth of a new nation.

It’s very thoughtful to realize that virtually everyone is supporting this drive because it’s a just cause, ordained of God.
In Ibadan this morning, I saw the elderly people commending the efforts even though the traffic gridlock affected them too.
I saw NURTW members who are obviously affected throwing their weight behind it and instead of putting up a resistance, they sought for alternative routes.

I overheard roadside sellers, traders, passerby, and pedestrians talking about a new Nigeria with all commending the protests.
Forget political undertone. Forget ethnic sentiments. Forget religious biases. The “spirits” of the youth are stirred up. The hand of God is clearly evident.

All the pockets of skirmishes recorded so far are handiwork of infiltrators. That’s why we need to sustain the momentum of prayers.
We need to pray that Satan will not hijack the protests by planting unscrupulous elements who cause mayhem thereby giving justification for government’s decision to opt for military intervention.

We need to keep praying that as we stand on the threshold of a new Nigeria, we move on with renewed strength, vigour and determination without fail, PLUS MORE MORE.

Friend, if there’s any spiritual lesson and encouragement from the ongoing protests, it is that YEARS OF PRAYERS AND PROPHECIES ARE NOT IN VAIN.

Millions of believers have been holding the hand of God over this nation for many years. And now, THE SEASON OF MANIFESTATION IS HERE, by the Grace of God.

We stay connected to the heartbeat of the Father over the nation with the Holy Ghost helping us.
God Bless Nigeria!!!
