2 Kings 3:13-17 NKJV
[13] Then Elisha said to the king of Israel, “What have I to do with you? Go to the prophets of your father and the prophets of your mother.” But the king of Israel said to him, “No, for the LORD has called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab.”
[14] And Elisha said, “As the LORD of hosts lives, before whom I stand, surely were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, I would not look at you, nor see you.
[15] But now bring me a musician.” Then it happened, when the musician played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him.
[16] And he said, “Thus says the LORD: ‘Make this valley full of ditches.’
[17] For thus says the LORD: ‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.’
I keep wondering.
Three stranded and confused kings came to Elisha to receive a Word from the Lord God concerning the direction they should take as they went to confront another king, King of Moab, in a battle, and because the Prophet of God was displeased with the King of Israel, because of his idolatry and atrocities, he could not receive any Word from God until there was a music support.
I keep wondering.
That they had to look for a minstrel for him, an harpist, a musician to sing for him and play a musical instrument before the heaven could open for him to hear a Word from heaven for the three stranded kings.
I keep wondering.
That as soon as the musician began to sing and play his instrument in the presence of Elisha, revelations poured in. The heaven released Words. The eyes of the Prophet opened. And he saw Solutions from Heaven. He saw divine strategies for the Kings. He gave them divine instructions.
“Make ditches and trenches in the valley….for waters shall flow into the valley…and fill the whole place…and you will also have victories over the enemy.”
There was another astonishing incidence I can now recall from the Book of I Samuel 15. A whole king of a nation was running mad. A distressing spirit from heaven was troubling him. Day or night, the sudden madding depression had no bound. It always came upon him from time to time. And whenever it came down on, he could kill. He could throw his spear at anyone standing before him.
I keep wondering.
That when the servants of the king would proffer a solution to calm the distressing king, it was to look for a man who could sing and play musical instrument. They believed when the madness of their king comes at any time, and the man begin to play a music and sing a song, the madness would depart from him instantly. And they guessed right.
They looked for a musician from the house of Jesse, and found David the Harpist and the Psalmist. He stayed in the front of the king and kept playing to drive the spirit of mad depression and distress away.
1 Samuel 16:14-19,23 NKJV
[14] But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the LORD troubled him.
[23] And so it was, whenever the spirit from God was upon Saul, that David would take a harp and play it with his hand. Then Saul would become refreshed and well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him.
Today, in our various churches, among the youths and the adults are volumes of music gifts from heaven, which God had deposited in the lives of His Children in the church, to heal the distressing world.

If you know that the Gift of Music and Instrument playing you have was giving to you by the Lord for the Healing of the Distressing World and the demonic oppressions and depressions of the multitudes.
I keep Wondering…
If you know that the Gift of music given to you is for the Healing, Deliverance and Restoration of millions of People and it is never given to you for your own pleasure or to make you a star with a pump-up head..
Do you know that the Lord knew there would be a lot of depressions and distress in the world today, and He expect you as a Music minister to come to His presence often to receive Healing Music from Him for the healing and revival and deliverance of multitudes of people.
I keep wondering…
Why a Christian music minister should look out to copy the worldly musicians and singers. I wonder if you know that your Source is from heaven and you have to find time to receive Healing songs from God if you will truly heal the nations and heal the distressing kings and give directions to spiritually stranded people.
WHEN YOU, AS A MUSIC MINISTER SEEK TO PLEASE THE WORLD, YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO PLEASE YOUR MASTER AND FULFILL YOUR HEAVENLY MANDATE.
Our Music ministers, gifted from Heaven to heal the distressing nations and give the world the comfort and hope from God, have given themselves to a lot of Distractions.
THE EYES OF A LOT OF THEM ARE IN THE WORLD, SO THEY CAN NOT FULFILL THEIR HEAVENLY MANDATE.
I challenge all our music ministers in churches and ministries to arise and stand in their rightful place. YOU MUST NOT ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE DISTRACTED BY THE GIFT AND MUSIC OF THE WORLD.
It is because Heavenly Ordained music ministers in the vineyard and the household of Faith are not standing in their rightful place of ministry that the worldly gifted musicians are beginning to creep into the Church and into their spiritual territories.
Pick up your calling.
Take up your Music ministry.
It is for Healing of the Total Man and for Direction to the spiritually Stranded people.
