Psalms 80:18
So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.
Whenever you engage in any spiritual exercise like prayer, fasting, worship etc, it is okay to begin in the flesh but it is expected that as you go on the spirit of God quickens you.
Like me, I don’t pray loud until I am quickened, I don’t go into long fasting until I am quickened, doing these things in the flesh will profit you nothing but body stress.
So unless I am quickened I don’t engage in spiritual adventure by my flesh.
When you are quickened, you are not labouring in the flesh anymore, you are quickened by spirit power.
And there is a consciousness of the presence when you are quickened; the blood of Jesus becomes real to you.
Romans 8:11
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Can you ask the Quickening Spirit to quicken you today
