In the book of Matthew, Jesus said ‘Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, all thy soul and all thy mind’ and I do.
This is the first and greatest command and the second is likened to it, ‘thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.’
On these two commandments hang all of the law and the prophets. I pray that everyday and I pray that every night and I mean it. I prayed for that until this morning. For Joe Biden, Kamala Harris.
I don’t agree with their politics, but I love them. And in my expression of how the joy of the Lord is our strength which I was studying right here today in the book of Nehemiah in a different translation. Anyway, Nehemiah 18,
‘The Joy of the Lord is your strength.’
Joy! a powerful fruit of the reborn human Spirit. It’s so powerful. But now, for those that might have the idea that I hate Joe Biden, I don’t. I love him. Like I said, I prayed today for those two. And I want you to know that should it be necessary, I apologise if that came across that way.
Because I love the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind and all my strength. And I love Jesus more than I love any human being. And I serve him with all of my heart and all of my being and I have for fifty-four years, and I love you. I don’t even know you but I love you because Jesus is my Lord.
