In one of our series Overcoming challenges, we discussed on how you can apply faith to overcome challenges, click here for the series. However there is a need to know some of the essential features of faith, some element that shows if you are actually exercising your faith or not.

1. The heart of faith is always restful:

Your state of unbelief is shown by your restlessness but when you belief, you become restful as Hebrews 4:11 says Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. Check Mark 4: 35-38. When you depend on sense you will be troubled but faith will give you rest. And this faith is gotten from the word of God. According to Romans 10:17 which says So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. So you rest on the word of God. 2Choronoicles 32:8, Psalms 125:1.

2. It challenges opposition:

By the virtue of your belief via the word, your faith will actually go against anything that is not consentient with the word. It might even be advice or other people’s opinion. Mark 4:37. That faith reacts spontaneously to negative report. That was why the Bible recorded that Abraham who against hope believes in hope.

3. Speak Forth:

When you have faith, you will have to express it as the scripture says decree a thing and it shall be established. When you have faith, something will always trigger you to speak it out. 2 Corinthians 4:13 says We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; also check 1 Corinthians 10:10, Psalms 81:10 – 16 and John 11:40. Faith makes no explanation but manifestation.

Jesus loves you, accept him today – Tomorrow might be too late.
