MAKING THE HIGHEST SACRIFICE…FOR YOUR CALLING AND PURPOSE

2 Kings 3:25-27 NKJV
[25] Then they destroyed the cities, and each man threw a stone on every good piece of land and filled it; and they stopped up all the springs of water and cut down all the good trees….

[26] And when the king of Moab saw that the battle was too fierce for him, he took with him seven hundred men who drew swords, to break through to the king of Edom, but they could not.

[27] Then he took his eldest son who would have reigned in his place, and offered him as a burnt offering upon the wall; and there was great indignation against Israel. So they departed from him and returned to their own land.

The Lord had promised ABRAHAM that He would give him the land of Canaan. The Lord had promised ABRAHAM that He would make his seed to multiply as the sands of the sea-shore and as many as the stars of the sky. The LORD had said to him, that He would bless him exceedingly. But God had to confirm if ABRAHAM believed all His promises he had promised him. God had to confirm that Abraham had enough faith in Him to obtain all He had promised him and his descendants after him.

So, the Lord commanded him in Genesis 22:1-2
[1] Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.”
[2] Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”

And the next morning, Abraham took the boy, his only son, on whom was placed all the promises of expansion and increase, he went with a park of woods and fire and went on the journey to the mountain. He got to the top of the mountain, the place of the Offering, and tied up his son and laid him on the altar of woods. As he raised up his knife to slay him on the altar, the Angel of the Lord spoke to him from Heaven:

Genesis 22:12,16-17 NKJV
[12] And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.”
[16] and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the LORD, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son-
[17] blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.

So, by that singular act of Offering of his Only Son in his heart to God, Abraham secured an Enduring and Irrevocable Covenant of Expansion and Increase from God. And the Promise Land was covenanted to him and his descendants permanently forever.

HE SACRIFICED THE HIGHEST OFFERING FOR WHAT HE BELIEVED IN, TO SECURE AN IRREVOCABLE COVENANT FROM GOD.
What did the King of Moab do to drive all his attackers back and secure his land that day? The war was against him. The combination of the three kings had PURPOSED to take all his land and destroy his kingdom. The battle was fierce. He attempted to break into the ranks of the army of Edom with seven hundred valiant men, he could not. When he saw the battle too fierce for him to win, he took his first son, the heir to his throne, the royal prince of the land, and placed him on the wall of the city and offered him up in a burnt offering to his gods. THE GODS OF THE LAND.

And When the Isrealites and the kings of Judah saw the terrible wicked Idolatrous witchcraft, they turned back from him with indignation and went away irritated. they never wanted to behold such wickedness.
So the King of Moab got his land back.
HE SACRIFICED HIS ONLY SON TO GET BACK HIS LAND AND
KINGDOM.

ABRAHAM SACRIFICED HIS SON IN HIS HEART TO SECURE AN IRREVOCABLE COVENANT ON THE LAND OF CANAAN.
And this is the Lesson therein:
JESUS SACRIFICED HIMSELF FOR YOU TO SECURE YOUR FREEDOM, BECAUSE HE BELIEVED VERY STRONGLY IN HIS VISIONS AND DREAM TO HAVE A PEOPLE AND A BRIDE OF BELIEVERS UNTO HIMSELF.
What is your Vision and Calling?
Can you pay any Price and make any Sacrifice to secure your Visions, Calling and Ministerial Mandate?

CAN YOU DIE FOR YOUR MINISTRY AND CALLING?
CAN YOU DIE FOR YOUR FAITH?
CAN YOU DIE FOR JESUS?
Can you Pay the Highest Price to Secure your Visions and Calling?
Can you SACRIFICE your Career and Profession TO SECURE AND PROTECT YOUR VISIONS AND CALLING AND MINISTRY?
And Unbeliever King of Moab sacrificed his Heir to the Throne to his gods, to secure his Kingdom and his throne.

Abraham laid his Only Son on an Altar of Wood to sacrifice him an Offering to the Lord God to secure an Irrevocable Covenant of God for the Land of Canaan he had been promised.

What highest Sacrifice can you make to secure your divine Mandate?
How far can you go to protect your Calling, Visions and Mandate?
Some people would rather sacrifice their Ministry and Visions on the Altar of their Profession and Career. Some Ladies would sacrifice their callings and Visions for a man they wanted to marry. Some men can throw their calling and visions and mandate into garbage can because of the ladies they want to marry.

Families and Relatives and Friends have made some people to sacrifice their ministerial Calling and Vision. Some people love their Money more than their Calling and Visions. Some people don’t care if their calling and visions suffer, as long as they are comfortable and are enjoying themselves.

BUT YOU MUST MAKE A SACRIFICE AND OFFERING FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN.
Christ, fill me with Power and courage to be ready to pay any price for the Calling and Ministry you gave to me.”

“Lord Jesus, empower all Drama Ministers to be fully committed to the Call of God upon their Life”
