2 Kings 6:17-20
[17] And Elisha prayed, and said, “LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
[18] So when the Syrians came down to him, Elisha prayed to the LORD, and said, “Strike this people, I pray, with blindness.” And He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.
[19] Now Elisha said to them, “This is not the way, nor is this the city. Follow me, and I will bring you to the man whom you seek.” But he led them to Samaria.
[20] So it was, when they had come to Samaria, that Elisha said, “LORD, open the eyes of these men, that they may see.” And the LORD opened their eyes, and they saw; and there they were, inside Samaria!
As the Syrian Army came encompassing the settlement of Elisha, and as Elisha looked around in the spirit and saw a massive Army of Heaven in fiery chariots and flaming horses with their horsemen standing by for any command from Elisha; whatever Elisha said was what would happen. Elisha himself knew that whatever he said would come to pass at that point.
If he had said the land should open up and swallow all the Syrian Army that came to arrest him, as Moses commanded the land to swallow up the disloyal band of Korah and Dathan in the wilderness, So be it!
If he had authorized that they should disappear into the thin air without a trace forever, it could have happened in seconds! If he had said they should all be dancing naked, it should have happened to them all. What did his Master, Elijah, do in his own case, when the Army of King Ahaziah of Samaria came to arrest him?
2 Kings 1:9-10 NKJV
[9] Then the king sent to him a captain of fifty with his fifty men. So he went up to him; and there he was, sitting on the top of a hill. And he spoke to him: “Man of God, the king has said, ‘Come down!'”
[10] So Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, “If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.” And fire came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty.
The King sent the second Battalion to arrest him, he roasted them with fire from heaven also. It was whatever his Master, Elijah said that came to pass. He even sealed up the whole of the sky and blocked off rain from falling upon the whole land for three years and half. THUS, HE AUTHORIZED FAMINE UPON THE LAND….
1 Kings 17:1 NKJV
[1] And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.”
IT WAS ACCORDING TO HIS WORD THAT THE FAMINE CAME UPON THE LAND OF ISRAEL. HE ORDERED FAMINE. HE COMMANDED RAIN NOT TO FALL UPON THE LAND.
But, in the case of Elisha, he used his divine authority differently. He did not command them to be roasted by fire, though he had Chariots of Fire and Horses of flames occupying the mountains around him. He did not command them to sink into the belly of the earth as Moses commanded Dathan and Korah in the wilderness. He merely said the Lord God should blindfold them without taking their eyes from them. And it was so! They came to Elisha without recognizing him. they followed him without knowing they were following the man they had come to arrest. He led them to Samaria without knowing they were entering into the city of their enemy. Then, he commanded their eyes to open inside the Palace of Samaria. And their eyes opened! Too late. They could not run away!
What an Anointing of Authority!
What did Jesus say?
Luke 10:19 NKJV
[19] Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
And what Did Jesus Say Again?
Matthew 18:18 NKJV
[18] “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
And What Did Jesus Say at Another Time?
Matthew 16:19 NKJV
[19] And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
And the word of the Lord further says:
Job 22:28 KJV
[28] Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
But in YOUR OWN CASE….WHAT HAVE YOU DECREED?
We have a lot of Prayer Warriors and Bible Teachers all around us. Many of us are Fasting-Addicts! 7 days Marathon Fasting, 14 days, 21 days White Fasting are nothing to us. there are some of us that has just concluded a 40, 50 or 70 days of Fasting and Prayers. In Nigeria, we pray and Fast a lot! It is never so outside of this country!. Every church declare her own measure of Fasting and Prayers at the beginning of the year: 14, 21, 30, 40, 50, 70, and even 100 days of Fasting and Prayers.
With our MOUTHS AND TONGUES OF FASTING AND PRAYERS, many of us have DECREED EVILS AND CALAMITIES…
Upon our Homes!
Upon our Children!
Upon our Families!
Upon our Friends!
On Many Occasions…WE HAVE DECREED WITH OUR MOUTHS THAT…IT CAN NEVER BE WELL WITH THIS NATION!
Can you Imagine that Many of us have no Positive Prophetic Declarations in our mouths and tongues for our Country!.
LISTEN TO ME, BELOVED….!
THE POWER OF DIVINE AUTHORITY YOU HAVE….HOW ARE YOU ABUSING AND MISUSING IT?
You have said “This Nation is a Write-Off…Canada is Better” Therefore, your Mouth has declared it that it can never be better for you in this Nation until you get to Canada….SO BE IT!
You have said…”There is nothing Good about this Country again and it can never be well with you in this country again…until you get to America or Germany….!” SO BE IT! YOU SAID IT WITH YOUR MOUTH!
LISTEN TO ME, BELOVED…! THE POWER OF AUTHORITY IS IN THE MOUTH OF BELIEVERS, NOT IN THE MOUTH OF UNBELIEVERS!
IT IS THE WORDS AND DECREE OF BELIEVERS THAT GOD WILL LISTEN TO…NOT THE WORD AND SUGGESTIONS OF THE GODLESS!
SO…WE BELIEVERS ARE THE ONES CONTROLLING THIS COUNTRY!
BELIEVERS ARE THE ONES CONTROLLING THIS COUNTRY!
BELIEVERS ARE THE ONES CONTROLLING THIS COUNTRY!
WE DON’T HAVE TO BE ON THE SEATS OF POWER BEFORE WE CAN DECREE AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS!
WE CAN SEAL THE HEAVENS!
WE CAN OPEN THE HEAVENS!
WHEN WE ARE PASSIVE…EVERYTHING REMAINS PASSIVE!
WHEN WE ARE ACTIVE…EVERYTHING REMAINS ACTIVE!
WE CAN DECREE INFIRMITIES AND AFFLICTIONS UPON THE LOOTERS…TILL THEY REVEAL WHERE THEY HIDE ALL BOOTIES!
WE CAN BLINDFOLD THEM!
WE CAN CAN COMMAND THEM TO DANCE NAKED IN THE MARKET PLACE!
WE DETERMINE THIS NATION!
We have destroyed and dismantled this country with our Fasting and Prayer Mouths!
And We can Rebuild this Nation with our Fasting and Prayer Mouths.
In your mouth is a Divine Authority!
2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV
[14] If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
