“UNCONVERTED CONVERTS…. .UNBELIEVING BELIEVERS”

Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV
[21] “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

[22] Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’

[23] And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

I heard the story of a particular man who was made the Pastor of a church. He called the brother who was his assistant pastor and informed him that he does not know how to preach and does not know the Bible. So HE was begged to to be preaching every Sunday whenever while he would be handling the other assignment.

The brother became very amazed at this and asked him why he was made the Pastor of the church, then? He informed the brother that he was given that honor because of his regular financial provision to the Church and the leaders.

Definitely, he has never been born again at all before he was made the pastor of that church. He was not even fit to be among the workers of the church, but he became the pastor who would be preaching and leading others to heaven while he was on his way to hell.

Today all around us we have a lot of UNCONVERTED CONVERTS, and all over the places, we have a lot of UNBELIEVING BELIEVERS. We have many unregenerated ministers of the gospel mounting the pulpits to speak about Business Principles, Academic Philosophies, Scientific Theories and Human Psychologies laced and sandwiched with few Biblical verses and references.

Many church members who had been Members of some churches for more than seven or eleven years had never at any time given their lives to Jesus Christ. Many who had been members of a church for more than ten years and had become a church worker had completely forgotten that, at no time in the past, had they ever answered an altar call to confess the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. They just assumed they had been saved the day they were welcomed into the church and greeted by the Ushers and the Pastor shook their hands with a sweet smile.

Many of our churches would welcome new visitors into the church on Sunday and all we would do to them is bring them forward , shake their hands and tell people to welcome them and the choir to sing for them. Then, we would give them some pamphlets of information or even serve them tea and probably just pray for them and disperse them. They were never led to Christ.

Next, they become church workers and then later begin to sing in the choir or teach the Sunday school. So many have spent 10-15 years in the church without ever accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. And what we see is what we read in the Book of Matthew 7:21-23

Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. [22] Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
[23] And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Are you born again? When exactly was the time you gave your life to Jesus Christ? You may be a member of a church or a worker or a unit leader in the church. All those are apart. Are you truly converted? When did you give your life to Jesus Christ?. Your gift of singing or your talents of using a lot of music instrument is never a ticket for entering into heaven.

You can sing in the choir and end up in Hell.
You can perform a lot of miracles and still end up in Hell.
You can be a Pastor or BISHOP or archbishop and still end up on Hell if you have not been converted and your sins have not been forgiven.

Are You Sure You Are Born Again?
WHEN EXACTLY DID YOU CROSS FROM DARKNESS INTO LIGHT?
WHEN DID YOU GIVE YOUR LIFE TO CHRIST?

Jesus loves you, accept Him today, tomorrow might be too late.
