In Matthew 10:41, Jesus said, “He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward.” It is important that you be a partner with some frontline, producing ministry in order to receive earthly and heavenly blessings.
Jesus is stating in this scripture that God is no respecter of persons. He doesn’t hold one person higher than another. Therefore, when you support a ministry you share equally in its reward.
The Apostle Paul commended the Philippians for their obedience in giving when no one else would. He said that he could have done the job by himself, but his desire was for fruit to abound to their account.
It is significant to note that when Paul wrote Philippians 4:19, he was speaking directly to his partners. “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
