MIRACLE MONEY “HULLABALOO” – Preserving The Culture Of The Supernatural!!!

– Pastor Bimbo Animashaun

The SUPERNATURAL is the heritage of the believer. The SUPERNATURAL is the common inheritance of the Church – the Body of Christ.

We cannot fold our hands and allow some within the Christian fold to undermine or denigrate our supernatural heritage.
Christianity is supernatural; it’s not natural. And if you claim to be a Christian and you have an aversion against the supernatural, you had better have a rethink.

If you’re a minister of the Gospel and you don’t believe in the supernatural, you had better leave and quit the ministry.
The goal of the devil is to reduce Christianity to an intellectual discipline in the consciousness of people, thus making them to remove the supernatural factor from the practice of their Faith.

No doubt, the Scriptural spells out principles to follow to lead a successful life, e.g dignity of labour, hardwork, industry and what have you.
But then, while we are to follow such clear-cut Scriptural principles without compromise, we cannot remove THE SUPERNATURAL FACTOR from the equation of our lives and destiny.

This brings me to the issue of MIRACLE MONEY, which is a topical issue at the moment on the Church’s landscape.
In recent times, there have been a lot of brouhaha about the genuineness of it and unfortunately, some who should know better are at the forefront of the verbal opprobrium on the matter.

When has Christianity become a religion without evidence? How did those who were forerunners of supernatural ministry in times past suddenly become critics of same?
Why are we always quick to pass judgement without looking intently at Bible patterns and principles?
If you tell me that you aren’t going to work with your hands but will be looking for miracle money, then I will say you’re wrong.
By the same token, if you tell me that miracle money provision is impossible and can never happen in a bid to root for dignity of labour, I will equally say you’re wrong.

You see, there’s always BALANCE to everything we say or do.
God is under no obligation to mellow down on His supernatural acts just because someone doesn’t understand it.
When Jesus commanded Peter to go pick money from the mouth of the fish, now where did the money come from?

MATTHEW 17:27
Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.
At least we have a Scriptural precedent here. Was this a fraudulent act?

Why didn’t Jesus instruct Peter to take money from the Treasurer of the band in the person of Judas Iscariot to pay the tribute?
And again, did money disappear from someone’s pocket or from the bank to land in the mouth of the fish? No!
Thank God we do have some recorded cases of the supernatural under the ministry of Jesus (although not all were recorded according to John 21:25), otherwise the confusion, misconception and misrepresentation of supernatural ministry would have been more collosal.

When He multiplied five loaves of bread and two fish to feed 5000 people to the extent that there were left overs – Jn.6:5-13, were those additional loaves of bread and fishes stolen from the market without the owners being aware of it?
When He turned water into wine at the wedding at Cana of Galilee – Jn.2:1-10, did any wine seller complain of bottles of wine disappearing from their store?
I mean when you see people who should educate others about the Bible being confusionists themselves, you cannot but intercede for them.

God forbid that we hand over lifeless and powerless Christianity devoid of supernatural elements to upcoming generations.
Truth is that THE SUPERNATURAL IS REAL AND THE SUPERNATURAL IS OUR HERITAGE.
I tell a story as I close. A great man of God who is a father in the Body of Christ that I know very well had an experience with MIRACLE MONEY in the early days of his ministry.
He was in the woods financially and the ministry was in dire need of finances.
One day, a visitor checked on him in the office and while he escorted the visitor out, his secretary wanted to pick up something in his office, and she found herself struggling to open the door – “someone” inside was holding the door handle.

She managed to peep into the office and she saw a mighty angelic creature full of lightening all over and she quickly ran away.
Well, when the man of God came back having seen off his visitor, he entered into his office and found fresh, new and mint naira notes on his table – the money was so much that it was enough to cater for all the needs of the moment.

Now this is a true life story. I heard it LIVE, and I know the man of God involved.
I have a ministry friend under whose ministry the supernatural flows like water and he also has experiences along this line.
He could put certain amounts of money somewhere and when he comes back to pick it, the money has increased.
You see, we’re not going to bow to the pressure of cynical criticism – we will tenaciously uphold the principles of God’s Word – we gave an oath of allegiance to “defend the Bible” when called into ministry.

The danger of keeping mum while people who have a “name” castigate Bible patterns and principles in the name of upholding righteousness is that it misrepresents God to a generation – people have a wrong, warped and perverted picture of God and the Bible.
We need balance. Teach people to work with their own hands while they trust in the blessing upon their lives as they work, and don’t ever, under any guise or pretext talk down on THE SUPERNATURAL because you want acceptance.

No, it’s not worth it any way. If you ever do, the day you’re in dire need of supernatural manifestation, it will not be there, because WHAT YOU ATTACK, YOU CANNOT ATTRACT.
It is God’s discretion and prerogative to preserve THE CULTURE OF THE SUPERNATURAL from generation to generation by His Spirit and He’s counting on our partnership with Him.
In my generation, the SUPERNATURAL will not go into extinction by the help of the Lord; it shall become commonplace and generations after will walk in the mainstream of it in Jesus’ Precious Name.
This is the cry of our hearts Lord!
Let God be TRUE and every man a liar – Rm.3:4!!
I trust this meets us well Sirs and Mas?
Shalom!!
