“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.” (Psalm 92: 12)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
The cedar tree has a pleasant fragrance because of natural oils in the tree. This fragrance attracts harmful insects, but the natural oil is toxic to the insects. The good fragrance of the cedar tree makes it a target for harmful insects, but unknown to the insects, the oil in the cedar tree acts like an insecticide. So the insects come to stop the cedar tree, but they end up being stopped. They come to destroy the cedar tree, but they end up destroyed.

Notice that our Focal Scripture likens the righteous to a cedar in Lebanon. The righteous is likened to a tree which attracts harmful insects. The righteous is likened to a tree which has the capacity to kill every harmful insect that comes close. That means, there is something about the righteous that stops and even neutralizes adversaries. There is something about the righteous that destroys every destroyer around.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every negativity that is hanging around you on account of the goodness of God to you, the power of God at work in you will cause it to scatter by fire. The hand of the Lord upon you will terminate every satanic affliction that wants to settle in your life. The hand of the Lord terminates every satanic attack against you. The hand of the Lord cuts short every messenger of the pit of hell around you.

By the hand of the Lord upon you, every negative person, negative conspiracies and plans, negative reports, gossip, envy, jealousy, etc that has been sent against you, is terminated now. Whosoever is after you because of what God is doing in your life, let the fire of God locate and scatter them. Let the fire of God turn against those that have turned against you. The hand of the Lord turns back and consumes every negativity sent against you.

The blessing of God upon your life doesn’t make you vulnerable, but it makes your attackers vulnerable. God’s blessings do not bring sorrow to you, but they will bring sorrow to anyone who plans to bring you sorrow. Walk in confidence; you are untouchable; you are preserved; you are protected.

Psalm 105: 14-15 says: “14. He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; 15. Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”
Declare With Me: I am divinely protected, in Jesus’ name!
