Luke 1:35-37,39-41 NKJV
[35] And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.
[36] Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren.
[37] For with God nothing will be impossible.”
[39] Now Mary arose in those days and went into the hill country with haste, to a city of Judah,
[40] and entered the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth.
[41] And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
When the Angel Gabriel came to MARY to deliver the message of her immaculate conception of the Lord Jesus Christ. And she was wondering how this could be since she knew not any man. The Angel told her, he had delivered a message of conception to her relative, Elizabeth whom had been regarded as barren.
The Angel said, Elizabeth was now pregnant six months. the next thing we heard was that Mary rose up and travelled to the hill country, to the city of Elizabeth. To share the testimony of her encounter with the Angel and to confirm her (Elizabeth’s) own miraculous conception too.
As Mary entered into Elizabeth’s house, the baby in her (Eliza’s) womb, leaped for joy and she was filled with the Holy Ghost immediately. And she (Eliza) began to prophesy about the baby in the womb of Mary…confirming what the Angel had told her. Then, she said,
Luke 1:44 NKJV
[44] For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
When Elizabeth had finished prophesying, Mary also began her own prophesy, both operating under the same atmosphere. Then, the Verse 56 says:
“And Mary remained with her about three months, and returned to her house.”
WHY DID THE BABY IN THE WOMB OF ELIZABETH LEAPED FOR JOY THE MOMENT SHE HEARD THE VOICE OF MARY?
WHY DID SHE BURST INTO A MOMENT OF PROPHESY THE MOMENT MARY ARRIVED AND GREETED HER?
WHY DID SHE ALSO GO INTO PROPHETIC SONGS AFTER THE PROPHESY OF ELIZABETH?
THEN, WHY DID MARY STAYED WITH ELIZABETH FOR THREE WHOLE MONTHS BEFORE GOING BACK TO HER HOUSE?
There was a huge connection between what both of them carried. What Elizabeth carried in her womb, related to what Mary carried in her womb. Mary had just received her conception, but Elizabeth had been pregnant for six months.
SO, TWO PREGNANT WOMEN HAD COME TOGETHER TO SHARE NEWS OF ASTONISHMENT AND JOY
The young Vision Carrier had come to greet the elder Vision Carrier. They carry visions that related to each other. The Vision in Elizabeth rejoiced when the Vision in Mary arrived.
Who do you visit the moment the Lord gives you a fresh vision of a new assignment? who do you share your new Visions with? Does the vision you carried caused the Vision in another person to leap for Joy, when you speak? When someone comes to visit you, and the Visions of God in you is leaping for Joy as you are hearing his voice; then, you are carrying related visions. Then, a Vision Enhancer had come to greet you.
One Evening, we would never forget was the Evening Dr. Rueben Ezemadu came to greet my wife and I. he sat down and began to talk and talk and talk about the history of Christ Missionary Foundations and the exploits and adventures the mission ministry has embarked upon since inception. We sat down in his presence as secondary school students listening to an experienced teacher. We were extremely glad at everything he was saying and we were happy as his words were confirming so many things the Lord had made us to pass through.
HIS WORDS WERE ENHANCING THE VISIONS WE CARRY.
THE VISIONS WE CARRY WERE LEAPING FOR JOY AS WE WERE EATING THE WORDS HE WAS SHARING WITH US IN OUR LIVING ROOM.
At a time, we wished all our members in Mount Zion would be around to listen to Dr. Rueben Ezemadu sharing his missionary life experience. We were so so so blessed that evening. And we were encouraged that all what we were passing through are not strange to the true path of ministry.
When you we comfortable staying with a person who carries the same vision as yours, your vision has encountered a Vision Enhancer, not a Vision Extinguisher.
When the conversation and visiting of a fellow carrier of vision has caused your Vision to rejoice in the Lord and had moved you to speak in the spiritual language and enhanced the Prophetic gift and power in you, then, you are entertaining a Vision Enhancer and not a Vision Extinguisher.
When the Lord God has just given you a new ministerial visions or a new divine idea that excite your spirit, who are the first set of people you share this new visions with?
THEY ARE EITHER VISION ENHANCERS OR VISION EXTINGUISHERS?
When the Lord told Joseph he would be a lord in the future, the first person he shared the visions with was with his brothers, the Vision Extinguishers. The Bible says: “So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.”
All the brothers were concerned with was extinguishing the fire of the dream and visions:
Genesis 37:20 NKJV
Come therefore, let us now kill him and cast him into some pit; and we shall say, ‘Some wild beast has devoured him.’ We shall see what will become of his dreams!”
Mary travelled to the house of a like-minded person and what she carried made what the other woman carried to leap for joy.
SOME CONFERENCES AND SEMINARS ARE VISION KILLERS, so which conferences and seminars do you go with the great visions the Lord has committed into your hand?
SOME MINISTERS AND TEACHERS ARE VISION EXTINGUISHERS, so, be mindful of under whose teachings and counseling you sit, when your visions are boiling in your heart.
Some people would go to a Conference or Seminar with a heart-load of great VISONS of Ministerial assignment, but leave he Conference with emptiness of Heart or confused mind, doubting all what the Lord had commanded him to do.
DO YOU NOTICE, THAT ANGEL GABRIEL TOLD MARY THE PERSON CARRYING A SIMILAR VISION? He told Mary that Elizabeth had been pregnant for six month. So, listen to God well, and hear from Him who to visit and converse with when you carry the Vision that is to save the whole world.
One of the Greatest Tragedies of Fresh Vision, was the story of the Young Prophet in 1 Kings 13, who was sent from Judah to Bethel to go and warn King Jeroboam. He had been instructed never to eat or drink or wait behind after his mission, but should run out of the land through another way.
But after a fantastic accurate prophetic ministration full of some wonders and miracles before the King, an Old abandoned prophet in the land pursued him and met him resting under a tree. And begged him to follow him back home to eat and drink and relax. His mistake number one was sharing his divine instructions with the Old Prophet, that the Lord who sent him on the errand, warned him never to eat or drink in the land; then, the old prophet lied to him.
1 Kings 13:18 NKJV
[18] He said to him, “I too am a prophet as you are, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the LORD, saying, ‘Bring him back with you to your house, that he may eat bread and drink water.'” (He was lying to him.)
The Old Prophet was a Vision Killer. A vision Extinguisher. God knew about him so the Lord had warned the Young Prophet never to associate with any one in the land after delivering his message. He should never eat or drink or relax till he got back to his base.
AT TIMES, YOU HAVE TO GO HUNGRY AND THIRSTY TO KEEP YOUR VISIONS SECURE. YOU HAVE TO BE VERY PROTECTIVE OF THE VISION YOU CARRY AND THERE SHOULD BE NO SENTIMENT AT ALL.
AS A VISION CARRIER,…WHO YOU ASSOCIATE WITH DETERMINES THE LIVING OR THE DYING OF YOUR VISIONS
