Matthew 25:14-18 NKJV
“For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them.
[15] And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.
[16] Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents.
[17] And likewise he who had received two gained two more also.
[18] But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money.
There are so many truths, so many deep revelations, so many insights and many secrets of ministerial service in the Parable of the Talents narrated by Jesus. The Servant that was given 5 had laboured and gained additional 5 with it, so also was the one that was given 2 gained 2 extra in profit.
Why did the Servant that was given ONE went ahead to hide it somewhere till his Master came back for returns? Probably, he thought it was his own and could do whatever he liked with it. Probably, he thought he could decide how and when to use HIS TALENT. Probably, he thought that now that he had been given, it no longer belonged to the Master.
BUT there has been a hidden truth concealed in the Verse 14 of the Chapter which is the very First Beginning of the Parable:

“For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them.
“…HE DELIVERED HIS GOODS TO THEM” that is the hidden truth in that whole Parable. It is frightening to know that ALL THOSE TALENTS HE GAVE TO HIS SERVANTS WERE HIS GOODS….THE PROPERTY OF THE MASTER. IT IS NOT THE GOODS AND PROPERTY OF THE SERVANTS.
So it means the Gift of Acting I have, does not belong to me. Your Gift of Music and singing with great voice is not your Property. You have it on loan.
YOUR GIFTS AND TALENTS ARE ON LOAN FROM THE MASTER. You are going to return it back with PROFITS OF THE KINGDOM.
It means……
The Gift of Photography is not your own, the Master owns it and loaned out to you.
The Gift of Writing and Composition on Social Media is not your own but the MASTER’S.
That ability to Compose music and play fantastic musical instruments does not belong to you, it was implanted in you life by the Master for the Profiting of the Kingdom. IF YOU HAD KNOWN THAT, YOU WOULD. NOT BE CHARGING MONEY TO PLAY GUITAR, KEYBOARD OR PLAY SAX IN THE CHURCH PROGRAMS AND SERVICE.
If you had known that the Gifts of Acting and Writing Scripts were deposited in you by God for the enlargement of the Kingdom, you would not be doing whatever you like with it, thinking it is all yours, becoming pompous and proud and heady and stubborn in film locations.
The hidden secrets in the Parable of the Talents is that,
THE GIFTS IN YOU DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU.
IT BELONGS TO THE MASTER. It is a Loan from God and YOU ARE A DEBTOR.
YOU CAN NOT DO WHATEVER YOU LIKE WITH IT.
IT MUST PROFIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
May God help you to use well what is deposited in your life.
