(The Winning Secret)
– Pastor Bimbo Animashaun
Dear minister, NOTHING BEATS THE LOVE WALK IN MINISTRY, therefore keep walking in love.
There’s such as called THE UNBEATABLE POWER OF LOVE, and the earlier you realize it in ministry, the better for you.
Never allow offences, bitterness, envy, jealousy, anger, resentment, etc. get into your heart.
They’re bitter pills that will pollute the waters of your calling.
You cannot rise above your love walk in the work of the ministry.
Walking in strife and bitterness is an anti-covenant disposition.
Strife is inversely proportional to the Abrahamic covenant, yet this is the enemy’s strategy against many ministers of the Gospel.
Jesus said that OFFENCES WOULD SURELY COME:
LUKE 17:1
Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
Therefore except you’re not a human being, that’s when Satan will not tempt you with offences.
For offences, DON’T GIVE THEM, and DON’T TAKE THEM.
And if you’re in ministry, you must build the bullwark and stronghold of love very strong in your heart so as to remain relevant in God’s divine agenda on the earth.
Great Bible characters that we celebrate today learnt this lesson early in ministry.
Consider the following examples:
(1) ABRAHAM
When a fight broke out between his herdsmen and Lot’s herdsmen, he told Lot, “Let there be no strife…” and he released the guy – we all know what happened next – Gen.13:7-12.
(2) ISAAC
He was digging wells and the Philistines were stopping them, striving with him but in the midst of it all, Isaac was just ” laughing” (you know Isaac means Laughter) and moving on digging new wells until he came to his Rehoboth – Gen.26:18-22.
(3) JOSEPH
His brothers sold him to slavery but when the table turned and he became Egypt’s Prime Minister and his brothers came to him, he didn’t retaliate; he on the other hand forgave them, for he knew that he could not take the place of God – Gen.50:18-21.
(4) DAVID
King Saul tried to kill him, making several attempts but when David had the opportunity to strike the king, he said he couldn’t lift up his hand against the Lord’s anointed – 1 Sam.24:6. See LOVE WALK IN ACTION!!!
(5) JESUS CHRIST
At the time of His crucifixion, our Lord Jesus Christ was still praying for people that were nailing Him to the Cross. He said, “Father, forgive them because they know not what they do” – Lk.23:34.
Friend, I could go on and on. Walking in love is the cheapest way to break forth in ministry and maintain relevance.
The Lord told me recently, “There’s no spirituality outside of love. Walking in the Spirit is walking in love”.
I don’t know how many people have wronged me in ministry because I don’t keep record of evil – I simply move on.
I don’t plan to retaliate against anyone or prove any point to anyone – I simply move on.
Don’t be a vindictive person in ministry. Walk in love. I may not know how many people are angry with me but I know I’m not angry with anyone.
These are principles to live by friends. Many years ago, some people left Bishop David Oyedepo and thought the ministry would crash afterwards.
Well, to the glory of God, the ministry moved on in power, strength and glory, and when some of them came later to Canaan Land, Papa still hugged them and gave them due recognition – LOVE WALK.
Bishop taught us THE LAW OF ADVANCED FORGIVENESS. You’ve got to forgive people in advance.
These are key principles that the fathers walk by that our generation may not know about.
Today, many disturbing statements fly around but you see, dear friend, understanding and practising the principle of love will put you on the winning edge.
Whatever wrong you claim that someone did to you in ministry that’s making you to lose your balance and to harbour resentment, the fathers experienced more.
Therefore KEEP WALKING IN LOVE.
LOVE IS YOUR LEVER!
LOVE IS YOUR LEVERAGE!!
LOVE IS YOUR ADVANTAGE!!!
Nothing beats THE POWER OF LOVE in life and ministry.
Trust this is a blessing Sirs and Mas?
MUCH LOVE!!!
