2 Kings 4:5-6 NKJV
[5] So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out.

[6] Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased.
When I realized that the OIL CEASED WHEN THERE WAS NO MORE VESSELS TO POUR INTO, the Holy Spirit gave me an understanding that A LIFE COULD BE POURED OUT AS OIL AND WINE to fill other lives and bless other lives and give meaning and directions to other lives. Then, I came across verses like:
Lamentations 2:12
They say to their mothers, “Where is grain and wine?” As they swoon like the wounded In the streets of the city, As their life is poured out In their mothers’ bosom.
2 Timothy 4:5-6
[5] But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
[6] For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand.
SO LIFE CAN BE POURED OUT!
From that passage of Elisha and the Widow and the OIL and the Vessels, I now have more understanding that WHEN YOU POUR YOURSELF OUT TO FILL OTHER PEOPLE’S LIVES, YOUR LIFE MULTIPLY BACK INTO THE JAR.
– When you go about blessing other lives and filling them with the Lord’s Investment deposited inside of you, YOUR LIFE MULTIPLIES BACK INTO THE JAR.
– When you go around filling the EMPTY VESSELS of others, THE OIL UPON YOUR LIFE MULTIPLIES BACK INTO THE JAR.
Several years ago, the Lord taught us thins Principle in Mount Zion. When we first started and we travelled to KANO for several drama ministrations. And on one of the evenings, a company came with their camera recording gadget to cover the live drama productions. And we were extremely happy to see that we were being recorded live. We never thought of anything again than being happy that a company could come to record us. Later in the night, the wife of our host came to us to rebuke us and challenge us. She counseled us to restrain anybody from recording us, because they would go and make money out of it. She said we should stop the further recoding.
We were confused afterwards. We did not know what steps to take. We loved what they were doing, but we were being advised against it. Then, as I prayed earnestly with this confusion, I just heard the Lord saying what has ever being a major slogan for us in our ministry. The Lord said to me: “THE MORE THE MESSAGE SPREADS, THE MORE YOU ARE BLESSED.”
That was it!. We got the secret.
And that has formed the bedrock of our ministry. that Word of the Lord has ever encouraged us since then. this informed the reasons we and other drama ministries have been releasing our movies to many Television stations and cable channels across the nation and to other places outside NIGERIA.
AND THAT HAS BEEN ONE OF THE MAJOR REASONS DRAMA MINISTRY IN NIGERIA HAS BEEN FLOURISHING AND ADVANCING.
So the other Frightening part of it, therefore, is WHEN THERE ARE NO VESSELS TO POUR YOUR LIFE INTO, the person’s life begins to dry up in the Jar. Therefore, that Principle has encouraged me to keep running my race without distractions. My wife and I travelled extensively to many places, holding Drama School and making movies with them , BECAUSE I AM POURING OUT MY LIFE AS DRINK OFFERING AND OIL.
And in the process, my life is being multiplied back to me.
THAT IS WHY I AND MY WIFE ARE GOING TO LIVE SO LONG ON EARTH, DOING THE WORK, IF JESUS TARRIES IN COMING.
And that is why I now fully understand that THE GAP BETWEEN BEING BLESSED AND BEING A BLESSING IS A WIDE GAP.
You could be blessed with God’s gifts and potentials in your life, but you can not yet be fulfilled UNTIL YOU BECOME A BLESSING TO OTHERS WITH WHAT THE LORD HAS BLESSED YOU WITH.
So, your sleepless night to bless others IS MEANT TO MULTIPLY YOUR LIFE BACK INTO THE JAR (your vessel).
As you Pour your life of blessing into others in Using your gifts, in blessing them, impacting them, giving them directions in life, making things to work for them, making them fulfilled….
AS YOU BLESS OTHERS WITH YOUR LIFE’S CALLING AND MINISTRY, YOUR OIL IS BEING MULTIPLIED BACK INTO YOU, TO KEEP POURING.
So, don’t be tired working for the Lord.
Don’t be tired fulfilling your ministry, YOU NEED YOUR LIFE BACK.
Don’t be tired filling up other empty lives with your life Calling and Ministry, YOU NEED YOUR LIFE BACK.
Keep Singing for the Lord. Keep Acting for the Lord.
Keep Teaching, keep Serving. Keep working for the Lord.
YOU NEED YOUR LIFE TO BE MULTIPLIED BACK INTO YOU.
