1 Samuel 24:12
“May the LORD judge between us. Perhaps the LORD will punish you for what you are trying to do to me, but I will never harm you.”

(1) There is a right way to handle being wronged & a wrong way.
(2) I’ve seen people waste years (and even decades of life) trying to even a score or make someone pay for doing them wrong.
(3) In most cases, it was a waste of time. In other cases, although they got their revenge, it cost them valuable time. It consumed their best years.
“…Vengeance is mine. I will repay, saith the Lord.” Romans 12:9
(4) Seeking revenge is Pride. And it never makes us whole. Hurting someone for hurting you doesn’t heal you.
(5) When we humble ourselves & say, “May the Lord judge between us” we are giving GOD permission to be who He said He would be to us.
(6) Here is the Word of the Lord:
“To me belongeth vengeance, and recompense; their foot shall slip in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.” (Deuteronomy 32:35)
(7) Don’t get your heart all messed up and your hands dirty trying to get people back. Keep your heart pure & your hands clean.
