MULTIPLE OPTIONS

“Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.” (2 Kings 7: 1)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In Elisha’s prophecy, one shekel was to buy a measure of fine flour. The same shekel was to be able to afford two measures of barley. It was to be a new dawn where one shekel could afford different items. Notice that eighty shekels had previously paid for an ass’s head, while five shekels could only afford dove’s dung; but this was a new season prophecy, where a shekel could fetch two good options. It was a new season of multiple options.

Friend, welcome to your new season of multiple options. Welcome to your new season where you will be spoiled for options. Welcome to your new season where you will have multiple options of good opportunities. Welcome to that new season where you will have good options of great clients and clientele. Welcome to that season where you will have options whenever you need help. Welcome to that season where heaven will give you options.

Notice that previously, the options were an ass’s head and dove’s dung. What Israel had before Elisha’s prophecy, were bad options; but God turned things around and caused them to have good options. Hear me as I hear the Lord: in place of your bad options, you are getting good options. In the same places where you had no good alternatives, God will cause you to have several alternatives to choose from.

In this new season, you will have several opportunities to choose from; you will have several jobs to choose from; you will have several suitors to choose from; you will have several doors and gates to choose from; you will have several thrones and crowns to choose from; you will have several helpers to choose from; you will have several doors and gates of celebrations and congratulations to walk into. You will have good options.

The doors of bad options are closed forever in your life. Going forward, it shall be good options all the way.

Psalm 16: 5 says: “The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.”
