A foolish child is a father’s ruin, and a quarrelsome wife is like the constant dripping of a leaky roof.
In the Bible are examples of great humble, respectful and submissive women like Sarah, Elizabeth, Hannah, Esther, etc; women who cooperated with God to establish His full purpose in their lives and that of their husbands. These are great women who did great exploits as they followed their husbands to fulfill the plans of God. Esther knew how to be submissive to King Ahasuerus and how to bring the Emperor into her own house with great wisdom and spiritual preparations. The king who forbade any woman to come before him except she is invited; yet, Esther prayed and fasted and stormed his presence uninvited and the king ended up coming into the royal apartment of Esther herself, to eat. She was humble. She was wise and very spiritual.
Sarah followed her husband from the land they knew to the land knew knew not. She followed Abraham on a journey which destination he himself did not know, but submissive spirit did not allow her to question her husband’s decisions. The Bible did not tell us that Abraham did not inform his wife before taking Isaac to the mountain for the sacrifice. So many things the Lord told Abraham to do was done with the wife following him submissively. Those are examples of good and humble wives in the Bible.
However, there are also the other types of women in the Bible who wrongly influenced their husbands. Some women willingly submitted themselves to the devil to be serious impediment to the spiritual manifestations and upliftment of their . Some wives have made the homes hot for their husbands that the house is not pleasant for the man to stay, so such man look for every opportunity to stay out of the house, or if they are ministers of God, they look for outreaches and ministrations to go. Such men are happy to get out of the house for as long as three, five, six weeks at a stretch without missing home. BUT IS THAT THE WILL OF GOD? IS THAT THE PERFECT WILL OF GOD FOR A HOME?
Unfortunately, some married men are ENDURING their marriage instead of ENJOYING it, because the CONTENTOUS WIFE had made the home very unpleasant. I strongly believe that there are some of such men who would wish their wives would die off so that they can be free doctrinally speaking to marry another woman now with much caution. This is what the Bible means when it says “Better to live in a desert than with a nagging and a CONTENTIOUS wife” and in another portion, it says: It is better to go and live on the top of the roof corner than stay inside the house with a quarrelsome wife.
SURELY, THERE ARE MANY MEN WHO ARE LANGUISHING SECRETLY IN THE HAND OF CONTENTOUS, QUARELSOME AND NAGGING WIVES.
Have you felt a pain in your bones before? That is even better, than having a part of someone’s bone rotten. The Bible compare quarrelsome and CONTENTIOUS wives to rottenness in the bones. That is too bad. Unbearable. I have heard of a man who was terribly pushed to the wall by the contentions of his wife and as he was praying, he burst into tears and began to beg God to forgive him if he had married wrongly; then, he began to ask that the Lord to spare his soul from destruction and either take his wife away so that he might be free or take him away so that he might rest. May the Lord have mercy on us all.
The Bible says when a wife goes the wrong way and allows a wrong spirit in her life and begins to malfunction in a marriage, it is like a man having a rotten bone in his body; the man will be living in pain. The man will be uncomfortable. At times, the man would wish he had never married. At times, the man will prefer to be living in a small corner of a house than living in the large flat with the CONTENTIOUS wife who gives him no peace. So many things would go wrong. Their prayer life will be flat. There will be no spiritual unity. The house will be spiritually conterminated. Their bedroom intimacy may be in zero percent. Some of them don’t even sleep in the same bed. THAT IS NOT THE PERFECT PLAN OF GOD FOR MARRIAGE. MAY THE LORD TRANSFORM SUCH MARRIAGE.
When a marriage has been so attacked by the spirit of the devil working through the wife, the husband is not far from spiritual death. Only the Grace of God can sustain such man, because it is all demonic networking and Satanic conspiracy. Temptations mount up around the man both at home, in office and at ministrations and outreach fields. Satanically organized “Sisters” begin to hover around such person, camouflagged in fake humility and ungenuine caring and loving spirit. MAY THE LORD GOD SUSTAIN SUCH MEN BY HIS GREAT POWERS.
Some of those men are not divorced physically, but are long time divorced spiritually and psychologically. Some of those men, because they have been, wrongly and wickedly, starved of sexual intimacy by their wives, are lured secretly into midnight pornography which will sooner or later, lead them into a colossal scandal. That is what the enemy has been plotting and sketching for a long time.
I DECREE TODAY THAT THE ENEMY SHALL NOT CATCH ANY OF SUCH MEN TILL THE HAND OF THE LORD TRANSFORMS THEIR WIVES.
On a final note, when a woman chooses to be arrogant, proud and unsubmissive to her husband, she has broken the commandment of the Lord, which demanded from her to respect her husband and be submissive to him, as the Head, just as the Church does to Christ. When a woman chooses to punish a man by denying him access to her body, when the Bible says a wife should not do so in I Corinthians 7, she had broken the Commandment of the Lord and sinned against God. When a woman is trying to be the head of the home when God says it is the spiritual role of the man, but trying to take over the control of the home, demanding that whatever she says must be done, turning the husband to a puppet; such woman has flagrantly discarded the law of the Most High God by disrespecting and dishonoring her husband.
NOW, WHEN A WOMAN LIVES LIKE THIS, SHE CAN NEVER MAKE BE ON THE LORD’S SIDE , no matter how dedicated she may be in the service of the Lord. Even some Pastors’ wives are in this category. They believe their husbands are hooked and caged; they believe the man would never do anything to tarnish the name of the Lord or allow any scandal to their long-term ministry, SO HE DARE NOT CRY OUT, therefore, they maltreat the men at home and call the shot at home while the man calls the shot in the church. Some ministers of God are crying inside their heart while they smile to their church congregations.
THERE IS NO WAY A WOMAN WHO LIVES IN PERPECTUAL DISOBEDIENCE TO THE LAWS OF GOD CAN BE ON THE LORD’S SIDE HOWEVER SPIRITUAL SHE MAY LOOK BEFORE PEOPLE.
What is my last word to the men who are in the Cage of Contentious women, KEEP HOLDING ON IN THE LORD. I have seen such women becoming completely transformed and highly submissive to the man and becoming helpful in his ministry. I have seen such women becoming a royal gem in the hand of her husband, after long time of struggles in a CONTENTIOUS marriage. GOD CAN DO IT. Let the woman become your prayer point. Keep loving her. Keep playing your own spiritual roles of a Godly man: love her, cherish and honor her and keep praying for her. So that you don’t lose your soul.
