The devil is not as strong as the world and movies portrays him to be especially around the blood washed children of God.
There is no competition between devil and God, satan is no match for Abba, they are not in the same rank, when there was war in heaven, God didn’t lift a finger, only Micheal the arc angel was the one who fought and chased him and his servants out of heaven and guess what? A saved Man is higher than the angels Hallelujah.
The devil will work in your life and family and destroy based on your ignorance of who you are in Christ Jesus, your knowledge of your weapons of warfare, your understanding of your position in God, the level of Light you have from God’s word, your salvation status (Saved, unsaved, saved but walking in iniquity(carnal) and the Revelation of the Son of God in your heart.
This is the good news, satan and his works can be kicked out of your household.
But know this, you don’t try to chase away the devil when you belong to him or when you are part of his works, a house divided against itself cannot stand, if you belong to his family, you can’t cast out the devil because you are there also. Until your obedience is complete, you can’t judge disobedience.
“Since we are armed with such dynamic weaponry, we stand ready to punish any trace of rebellion, as soon as you choose complete obedience.”
2 Corinthians 10:6 TPT
You can only kick out the devil and his works, destroying any traces of rebellion against what Christ stands for in your household from the point when you are total in obedience.
