IT SHALL COME TO PASS

“And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.” (Genesis 37: 9)

In subsequent chapters of Genesis, Joseph’s dream indeed came to pass. His brothers eventually came and bowed to him (Genesis 42 vs. 6); his father and brethren later came to join him in Egypt where he had become Governor. Joseph rose to a level where his parents and brothers all came to pay him homage in Egypt. His dream didn’t come to pass immediately, but it later came to pass in a matter of time.

Friend, are there promises that God has made to you? Are there dreams and visions you have concerning your future? God says, your dreams and visions will come to pass in a matter of time; your greatness will come to pass in a matter of time; your lifting will happen in a matter of time; your next level will be made manifest in a matter of time; your wealth will become your reality in a matter of time; your great future will become your reality in a matter of time. Every promise that God has made you will come to pass in just a matter of time.

God’s promises are not like the promises of men that can be abandoned whenever a man pleases. God’s promises are not like poorly thought out promises that can be cancelled at will. When God makes you a promise, He is more than able to make good His promise; when God makes you a promise of good health, He doesn’t need your doctor’s opinion to make it work; if He promises you prosperity, He isn’t limited by the economy.

As Joseph was sold into slavery, and then went to Potiphar’s house as a servant, and eventually got thrown into prison, he had no idea that God was simply making arrangements for his greatness to be made manifest. Everything around you may seem normal or ordinary or even painful, but God is definitely making divine arrangements that will lead to the fulfillment of His promises concerning your life.

Remember, if God has said it, then get set, it will come to pass in a matter of time.

2 Corinthians 1: 20 says: “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.”

Declare With Me: God’s promises over me are sure, and they will all come to pass, in Jesus’ name!
